Default Ok so now i screwed up

I went to run the test on the alternator by testing the plug on it to a ground with the ignition on. So i start the car with the plug unplugged and go to test it and the car shuts off once i touch it to the ground. Turns out im an idiot and never switched it to dc voltage instead it was on dc amperage setting. So i shorted something that's obviously not letting the car spark. My question is what is it wire through.

It may be a blown main fuse. What year car is this and how many cylinders?

yeah i figured it out after taking a step back for a sec. I check the wiring diagram and that wire runs to the #2 fuse inside under the dash. Must've popped it. Started right back up again.
