I have a 2000 accord V6. I noticed milage dropping and then noted that the car was dragging. I immediately thought that it needed a caliper. Replaced the LH caliper...problem was gone for a day. came back. Warrantied the caliper and put a new one on. Dragging again. I replaced the hose and when I did I learned that the line was holding pressure. Is there a check valve or something that can be rebuilt to allow the fluid to back off?
How exactly did you determine the line was holding pressure? I guess I'm not sure how to believe you about that.
There's a vent port back to the reservoir, that's inside the master cylinder. It only opens up when your foot is OFF the brake. But if the pushrod from the pedal is not adjusted properly, that can mess up the alignment of that port.
Maybe something in ABS, but I think that'skindaunlikely.
