Default overheating accord X(

Hey guys I have a 95 accord auto.

The car had a bad water pump so I replaced it but the car is still over heating. but I can drive it for hours and hours with the heater on and it wont over heat at all. Why is that?

Check that both cooling fans are running. If not, new fuse, relay, or motor is fix.

Check that condensor and/or radiator are not blocked w/ dirt/debris.

Check for trapped air by opening bleeder on cold engine to see if any air releases (topside of engine behind distributor).

If both fans are running and no trapped air, the thermostat may be sticking slightly closed causing too low coolant flow. New OEM thermostat should resolve.

good luck
