Default oxygen sensor threads stripped

Hi all,

A couple months we took out the oxygen sensor to work on the exhaust manifold. We somehow managed to strip it while we took it out. I've managed to work it back in there but after being in there for 2 months it's worked it's way out again. While I could probably continue doing this, I don't want it to affect my gas mileage any. I'm getting 29 MPG so I don't think it is though...

Is it hard to re-thread this? A new one will cost me $65, but I don't want to pay that. Sorry, I'm cheap... plus it's perfectly good, it would be a waste of a functioning oxygen sensor to just toss it out.

Thanks much!
