Stripped threads
Hello all, I am new to this forum and a 95 Honda Accord.
While changing out the slave cylinder a few nights ago, I stripped out the internal threads when replacing the bolt. It did not feel cross threaded at all. The other bolt is fine. Re-tapping it seems to be out of the question because of location and obstructions.
Question is, if I put a high-strength thread lock on the good bolt would that be strong enough to hold it?
Thanks for your input.
James
