"P" Light Won't Come On In Park - Keys Stuck
Hey all. I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX, automatic.
Fairly regularly now, when I put the car in Park, the "P" light does not highlight that it is in the Park position and I can not remove my keys without fiddling with the gear shift until the light finally comes on. This involves pushing the gear shift up, right, down, all around. It's very barbaric.
Any ideas?

Could be the gear position switch or the cable needs adjusted.
The 91 accord shop manual can be downloaded from Online Manuals thread in DIY section. It will give you the tests you should do and the adjustment procedure.
