so i just got the check engine light for code P0131 02 circuit low voltage (bank 1, sensor 1). I was reading through previous posts but i found hardly any on specifically P0131.

First question, Sensor one is the primary sensor right? which is also the pre-cat i think? I'm thinking of cleaning it and seeing if that helps, if not i'm gonna buy a new o2 sensor.

If i were to buy a new one, which brand should i get? or should i rather just get a Honda o2 sensor?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

 

Sensor 1 is the primary sensor, most upstream. I think the Honda V-6 does NOT have one for each bank, so that primary sensor has to be in the exhaust pipe after it connects 2 into 1. Before the cat.

Denso seems to be a good brand, probably the factory sensor is Denso anyway.
