I took the intake cover off again and cleaned up/out the IAC valve. Put everything back and still had the surge. I tapped on the top of the throttle assembly and the surge went to a very, very quick surge. I drove the car around the neighborhood and it is performing marvelously now. No CEL yet and the engine even sounds better/smoother. Thanks for all the input, you saved me alot. Besides, I love sticking it to the man!

Hopefully it is fixed and that surge doesn't return. Thanks for the update.

My car did that before, i unplugged the MAP sensor on top of the throttle body the surging went away, i plugged it back in the idle surging again, but i tap the sensor a lightly couple times the idle smooth itself out. Cleared the code and the idle smooth since then.
