Default P1028 Code

I pulled the codes and the P0128 code came up. Air filter 55,000 miles and dirty. Could this be the problem. Thanks

This is a problem with the cooling system. You may have a problem with the engine coolant temperature sensor. Inspect the electrical connector for corrosion or damage. You should probably search the site and the web for honda accord p0128 to see how others have tested for this problem.

Default P1028 Update

Thank you PAhonda for the help. After resetting the code another code which led to the ECT Sensor 2 came up. This is the sensor in the bottom of the radiator. I cleaned the connection and the high circuit resistance code has not come up again. As we live in Northern Illinois with salt and snow I believe this is a common problem and am going to buy a sensor and wire harness just in case as this harness leads to the cooling fan and must have come control over the fan. Thanks again!
