p1259 code

My check engine light came on in my 1998 6-cyl accord. The code that came up was p1259 just looking for ideas as to what's wrong.

P1259 = VTEC system problem

Often caused by insufficient oil. IF your oil is OK it may be a coupleother things...
- Loose electrical connection to the VTEC oil pressure switch.
- Dirty screen in the VTEC spool valve.
