Default Really losing my patients with this oil leak.

My car has been leaking oil from the back of the engine. At first I thought it was the filter so I replaced it, still leaked so I replaced that filter too. Yep, that one leaks too so i've established that its not the filter. Problem is, I dont see anything else it could be. It just leaks when it gets warmed up and accumulates around the filter and then drips. It must be something from above the filter but im really not seein anything.

Thoughts?

Make sure that the old oil filter gasket or any part of it is not still attached to the housing.

The oil pressure sending unit is directly above the oil filter.

X2 with Hondadude. That oil sending unit is known to leak. It is kind of hard to see above the oil filter. There is one wire leading to it and it has a rubber boot over the oil sending unit. That part costs about $15 at the dealership and is pretty simple to install.

Just check the back of the valve cover and the distributor. Those are the other common places for oil to leak.

Good Luck.
