Default Parasitic Draw

1998 Honda Accord. Loses about 1/4 Volt a night. After about four days, battery is dead. I did the parasitic draw test and it's only pulling about .08 MA when it's off. Well below the recommended limit to kill a batter. It's just the Clock and two blinking alarm lights. But for some reason I cannot find what's draining the battery which is only three months old and was a replacement for the last one what was less than a year old and still had this problem. Any ideas what could be draining the battery if there's nothing pulling power? All the connections are clean and corrosion free.

Either the alternator is not charging, or the parasitic draw is intermittent and you aren't catching it.

What is the voltage on the battery terminals when the enigne is running? Might be worthwhile to stop by a parts store and have them load test the battery and alternator with their tester.

Also, how/where are you hooking up the volt meter to get the amp draw?

Thanks for replying!
The battery is at 12.7V when idle. Well over 14V when engine is running.
I did the draw test by: Negative battery cable taken off the post. Meter set to 10 amps. positive meter lead on the negative cable. Negative meter lead on the negative battery post.
Last night it only dropped from 12.8V to 12.7V. the night before it dropped a 1/4 volt overnight. Amp test is consistent at .08MA when the engine is off and asleep.

Wonding if your meter is working. When you first hook up the meter, are the milli-amps higher then drop down in steps?

Try the same test, but do it between the positive battery post and the positive battery cable.

I even went and bought a brand new meter. Yes they start higher and drop down which is what is supposed to happen, correct? Ok I'll try the positive side test tomorrow.
thanks for your input! it's really truly appreciated!
