Default Parts interchangeability

Got my 96 civic up n running. Alternator, belts, entire brake job front & back n a master cylinder. Can't complain runs good awesome on gas so far.

??? What years are the parts interchangeable for these cars. I know that the american cars are usually 3-4 years. I'm looking for a better set of headlight as mine I can't adjust, adjusters are rusted up, & the lenses are so bad that even the kits out there won't help.
I've seen a few cars for parts only locally here but they are newer models, 98-99 years.
