I purchased a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L sedan with leather interior 4 weeks ago.
I've been trying for weeks- ever since then- to get the navigation system to "repeat voice"
when I miss a command/ direction.

I've tried everything imaginable to say : repeat voice- repeat command- repeat direction- go back - backwards- pardon- what- say again- back command... on & on.

Nothing will have the navi system repeat the command/direction.

On page 139 of the Navi manual it gives a list of voice commands- & " repeat voice" to repeat on screen directions is given.

What does happen is either I get nothing- no response- just nothing... OR I get random things like "fan on" ... "CD player off"... "hide lodging" ... "hide school"

What am I doing wrong?

I called the dealer & they are no help.
Please help... thanks

 

did you actually take car to dealer and have them go through the process with you ??( show it to you ) or did you call them on the phone??

I found your post as I've been having the exact same problem.

I've just discovered that saying "voice" actually seems to work reliably. If I say "repeat voice" I either get the voice command help or some other random thing.

On a side note, does anyone know if it's possible to control the rear screen defrost? I have a 2006 EX Tourer.

Many time I miss what the command was- so I want it repeated. The manual says to 'repeat voice' .
but that never- ever works.
The dealership in Seattle is a big joke- no one there knows & they aren't willing to help me figure it out.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear. If I say "repeat voice" I have all the same problems as you. If I say "voice" she repeats the last instruction. No idea why this works... I haven't spoken to my dealership about it yet, but I wonder if its struggling with our pronunciation of repeat. Have other people tried it in your car? "Repeat voice" doesn't work for myself or my girlfriend and we have very different accents.

Does saying "repeat voice" work for anyone?

Geeze- what's up with that! And why does the manual say 'repeat voice'
and why doesn't anyone at the Honda dealership know this!!!???
