Glad to know it is running better. Yes, there is a "re-learn" procedure. Jim has a write up - See the "Common DIY Threads and Info" sticky at the top of this section.
As far as the valves.....if they are making more noise than they need to be adjusted. If not, just keep going.
If it comes back, I'd inspect the "sticky" injector again and just replace the one. Do you know which cyl the "sticky" injector is on now?

10-4 on the valve clearances. No I can't tell where the (bad) injector went. I soaked them in cleaner overnight all in the same jar. If it plugs ups or sticks again I should be able to identify it though. It sounded less crisp than the others and it made cyl 4 a nearly dead hole so if it tanks I should be able to find it.
I would think to change all four for reliability and to have them all acting the same under the same conditions. They are not overly expensive and there is only four of them.
I just did my 03 Chev Dura-max Diesel in February. Now that was a job. $2000 in parts and 4 days of my time.
Thanks again for your help.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the advice. I just thought I would post back to confirm that it was dirty or stuck injectors and the car is running like a champ. It has been about 4,000 kilometers since I cleaned the injectors.

update 300,000 km on it now. started to run poor and throw codes again about 1 month ago. codes for intermittent misfire, misfire 1,2,3,4. it was running like crap. I ran injector cleaner in last tank no help. I pulled injectors tonight soaked for 2hours in injector cleaner and manually opened with punch. cleared codes. test drove runs like a champ. looks like its time for that new set of injectors.
the local auto parts guy says they don't sell many of these.
Any advice on brand or where to buy? Rebuilt good enough? Or new Honda parts?
Thanks for your advice!
