please help with taking out back deck

I have my rear seat out and I need to pull the back deck out for some deading but I cant figure out how??

The carpet on top of the deck or the deck itself? I'm pretty sure it's welded in...

I think I have to pull those side curtain air bags first

and by the way its a 07 4door forgot to put that

Welded to the frame of the car. The upper carpeted panel is held down my plastic clips. You have to remove the side trim panels to get the up. Why don't you just insulate it from the underside (trunk)?
