Exclamation Please read this first

This DIY section is really for long detailed instructions. Lately all the posting traffic here seems to be question/answer threads that really belong in General Tech or in one of the other topic forums.

Please consider posting elsewhere. If and when your thread turns into a good DIY with well-written, easy-to-follow instructions, THEN any moderator can move it into the DIY section.

That way we can re-organize the DIY section so the real DIY instructions are easier to find.

MEMBERS........ .PLEASE. do as Jim requests of you,, Please DO NOT write any posts in the DIY section..
the DIY is supposed to be like a reference library to look for already written procedures ( instructions) to help members do the job themselves,, + links to other sites that can help obtain the answers
it should be the first place that member should look for before even asking a question , the answer might already be there ..

I have already started the motion to remove all the unnecessary posts from the DIY section ..I have already spent a few hrs and it will take several more till they are all removed .

Please,, from now on DO NOT ask for help in the DIY section .go to the appropriate sections,,( gen tech, internal, paint, tires/wheels etc etc )

Your help is appreciated and will make this forum a lot easier to locate replies for your questions..

Thank-you

Gianni

As of today 8/7/2010 you will need a to fill out a DIY request form if you are requesting a DIY write up. IF you do not copy and paste your requesting forum and fill it out in full your thread will be deleted. Not moved but permanently deleted!!
You can find the request form in the sticky under this one....or use the link in this post.
This form takes 30sec to fill out plz take the time to do it.

Thanx
-Ryan

I know I do too....but they can’t blame anyone but there self’s cus we have posted this. I have become deleting happy in this area of the forums. If they can't help them self’s I’m sure as heck not going to. I also said that to bump this to the top so ppl MIGHT take 30 sec out of there non helping them self life’s to read this.
