I seem to have been noticing a decrease in my gas mileage, granted my car is almost 20 years old and has 260,000 miles on it....i did a tune up last year, change the oil every 3000 and check air pressure in tires, new air filter.....is there anything else i can do to boost my gas mileage?? also car seems to be getting sluggish every now and again....not all the time tho...

 

I would clean the EGR ports. See the writeup in the common DIY thread. Google T2T013.pdf for another writeup.

I would also clean the throttle plate and the throttle bore.

 

Try running a tank of gas with Seafoam Fuel Treatment...Works great on my 1992 Honda CB750 with 4 carbs...
