Default Power Steering Fluid

2005 Honda Accord Coupe 4 cyl and 135,000 miles

My local Honda dealer's service department is not the most honest one, but the only dealer in this city. I am overdue for a power steering fluid change. I think I want to bring it to a non-Honda mechanic. I know many fluids must be Honda fluids. Does the power steering fluid have to be a Honda brand?
Thanks

Simple answer is YES.

Complicated answer is that other companies make fluid. A couple suppliers make fluid that says "FOR HONDA/ACURA". If it says "for all makes" then DON'T use that.
