Need to add a little PS fluid and was wondering if Honda ATF is okay or does it have to be PS fluid? I know with some manufacturers the ATF and PS is the same fluid. Didn't know if Honda was the same or not. Thanks for replies. 1999 EX if that makes a difference.

 

never mind, checked my owners manual, said do not use ATF

 

And you need PS fluid that says "for Honda/Acura". Don't use the stuff that says "all makes & models". PS fluid from the dealer isn't outrageous, anyway.
