Cool Power Steering Problems

I have a 1999 Honda Accord Ex 4cyl. I have currently replaced my power steering pump, high pressure line, power steering reservoir, line from reservoir to pump and power steering belt. Last year I got a new steering rack. I am still getting that dreadful schreeching and foamy fluid in my reservoir. I have read it may be a o-ring but where? I think its coming in on the return in order to get a foamy fluid into the tank. Any ideas of what I should do or anyone that has had this problem? Been looking into changing out other lines throughout the system off a schematic I found. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.

There's an oring under the intake (suction) side fitting. Make sure the suction hose and end clamps are sound and not allowing air to enter anywhere.

good luck

Is that onto the powersteering pump where the hose clamps onto it coming from the reservoir?

Nothing there to put one on. The end is flanged so the tube goes over it. Still whinning like crazy. It moves freely when I turn so it has to be pumping but whines all the time and holds most of the fluid.

I took a look at your pump on Majestic Honda and looks like suction nipple is part of pump body and not removable.

Look for loose clamp, loose hose end, punctured hose allowing air in. Problem remains same air in fluid which can only get in on suction side of pump.

good luck
