Default Power steering pump rebuild kit???

Have a 99 Accord that the bearing in the power steering pump is bad. Have it tore down now just looking for a rebuild kit with the bearing. I haven't checked the dealer yet but did find one online at a place called PSKits. Called to find out if included the bearing and not getting anyone. If someone that has rebuilt one could help I would appreciate it, thanks J

You might check your local yellow pages, for a bearing supplier.
I seem to remember it is a common size bearing. 6002? The number should be on the race.

Exclamation

Hi, I know this is a month old thread but,

Did replacing the bearing solve your problem?

Usually when you have a growl in the steering pump, it's caused by excessive pressure in the hoses. If you get whine in pump, then you may have air in power steering fluid or low power steering fluid level.

I used to think my power steering on a 05 V6 accord has a bad bearing, but after draining all the PS fluid, the noise went away.
