Default Power window problems

hey whats good everyone? I ve got a 1995 Accord 2 door Coupe, 2.2L non vtech that i picked up for a steal of $2400 but my driver side power window doesnt work. I can push it up and down with my hands but the regulator isnt working. I took the door panel off today and tried to see if it was faulty wiring or if the motor was burnt out, but the motor seems to be working, but when i try to put the window down or up, the regulator cable barely pulls in or releases and then i hear a grinding noise and then the motor gives up. Do you think i need a new regulator? motor? track? or something else i dont know about? help me out everybody, thanks a bunch
matt

Clean the tracks with rubbing alcohol and lube 'em up with silicone lube.

I am afraid that the cleaning stuff won't do in this case, motor/regul comes as a unit and i bet that it is your problem,, part from the dealer is around $ 150-160 ( reg+ motor ) part # 72250-SV2-003. you might want to try to find one cheaper ,, but if only 40-50 dollars difference ,I would go with Honda parts

I meant to suggest the cleaning first and then change out the regulator if it doesn't work.
