Default Power windows

Hello all! I just purchased a 2002 Honda Accord SE. I've never owned a Honda before so Im not sure what to expect from. To be honest, this is the second car Ive ever owned.

Well, my Accord is equiped with power windows. The thing is, once in a while, when I remove the ignition key, I am able to roll up/down the widows and operate the moon roof. Sometimes I am able to duplicate it but more often than not, I can't. Keep in mind that the key is totally out of the ignition and not set at ACC. Has this happened to anyone before??? And should I take it to the dealer because it is a "Certified Used Car"?[sm=dontgetit.gif]

Thanks

Its designed to do that, you will notice if you open the door you wont be able to do it anymore. I think theres something like a 5 minute window for when it automatically makes it so you cant do that even if the doors were never opened. So yeah. being able to do that is normal. If you never open the door and it stops working like that then theres probably something faulty and that.... i have no idea how to fix lol

I think thaty year has a relay of about 20 seconds, I would contact the dealer first to make sure. My aunts 93 Accord SE 4 door was like that.

Just make sure you get it checked before the warranty runs out.

Yep, my '91 SE does the same thing. I use that feature all the time, but unfortunatly the sunroof isn't on the same circuit.
