Preferred brand of O2 sensor?
Hey all, my catalytic converter is going out in my '02 and was debating on replacing the rear O2 sensor along w/ the CC. I'm not getting any CEL codes as of yet. Do you think this would be prudent, given the fact that it has 113k miles on it? If so, any preference on brand? Looks like Bosch and Denso are what's available through NAPA or Autozone. No previous exhaust/emissions problems with this car, and it is non california emissions type, if that matters. What do ya think?

Hello,
I agree with PAHonda, if you are not getting any codes for the second one then it would be superfluous to replace it.
With that said, if you arrived at the conclusion that replacement is entirely warranted then I would suggest going with the OEM brand of o2 sensor. I don't recall the manufacturer of said sensor but the part number is 36532-PAA-L02. For components as crucial as the oxygen sensors are, I advise exclusively using OEM parts because there are a lot of shoddy quality after market o2 sensors out there.
Just my .02 cents
