problems with 98 accord

Default problems with 98 accord

ever since i rebuilt the head on my 98 accord lx its been lazy when i open the throttle. im thinking that its the timing. i guess by adjusting it will respond better. but anyone have any other things it might be

did you put everything back together properly? did you allow the engine to break in properly?

How old are the spark plugs?

did you adjust valves CORRECTLY?

are you sure the timing belt marks are correct?

what did the head fail? what did you do to it?and finally, explain how it feels messed up.

well yeah had help from a mechanic so everything was done rite. the spark plugs are from when i built the head. this was in november 06

why did the head fail?

how did you rebuild it?

the head gasket blew. so water mixed with the oil so had to rebuild it. got all new valves gaskets and so on etc.

are you sure you mechanic did everything correctly, like adjusting the valves and ensuring the timing belt was put on correctly? if so,

is it a 4cyl or v6?
