Default Problems with climate control unit maybe????

Im a little new at this but here we go. First off my wife drives a 2004 Honda Accord ex sedan. It has the 3.0 with automatic trans. After we parked it one night the blower motor was working fine and went out the next morning and it was shot wouldn't do anything. I hooked up battery to the blower motor and it worked fine and also bout a new resistor installed it and still nothing. Upon searching for answers I finally figured out I had a bad ground on the blower motor. Thinking this was my problem I grounded it temporarily to find out that the blower motor only works on high. It wont shut off or go to a slower speed. Does this possibly mean that the whole climate control unit is bad? Thanks for any and all help it is greatly appreciated.

Take a look at this thread; explains how to check out most of the wiring associated with that whole control circuit.
