what dashboard lights are u talking about? if its the battery then the alternator belt is most likely slipping and should be tightened more. if its more so everything getting brighter then its over charging the system.

as for auto to man, im sure they sell a complete kit, but the trans/mount/lines/clutch/pedals should be the jist of things. just google coverting auto trans to manual honda, and ull see plenty of civic post and loads of answers

I am almost 100% sure the manual transmission for a 4-cylinder will not bolt up to the V6.

You would have to find a transmission that will bolt on to your V6. There may have been a manual transmission on a V6 Acura, but you will have search the web to find out. I don't think this swap will be simple.

6th-gen Accord (1998-2002) manual from a 4-cyl car will absolutely not bolt up. The engine spins the opposite direction and the transmission is sorta mirror-image because it's on the opposite side of the engine bay vs. the V-6 car. Honda never offered the 6th-gen V-6 with a manual.

The V-6 manual transmission from 2003+ cars might bolt up, but I haven't seen anyone do that, so I don't know what the difficulty might be. For all I know the engine mounts might be completely different?

There HAVE been people who swapped one from a V-6 Acura (maybe TL??) but I also remember that it's not a real simple swap.

Curious, I went looking:

v6performance(dot)net/forums/6th-generation-honda-accord-1998-2002/113753-6-speed-manual-transmission-swap-guide-harness-info(dot)html

A lot of work.

I would investigate selling your car and buying a V6 w/ MT (if you can find one). This may be cheaper and whole lot less headaches.

good luck
