No they dont work on whips, whips dont have mechanical parts. There is a ralco pulley set that goes on the 04, i just ordered them. The one that fits our gen accords fit the ones for rsx. http://www.ultrarev.com/product.php?productid=80306

Waste of money in my opinion. Your a/c probably won't blow as cold and your alternator will not put out as much voltage. I don't think i have ever seen a good review on a pulley kit for a 4cyl Accord.

See ive heard just the opposite, several guys over at V6p put them on their 4cyl and said that their acceleration has improved. As far as the AC blowing cold, IDK. For me its useless, i never use my AC, i prefer having the windows down.

I should have them by the middle of next week, ill give a you an idea of if its worth it or not.

If allthe pulleys turn slower, the AC clutch will operate a greater % of time. Pressures, therefore temperatures, should be the same.

Alternator also turns slower. Some people won't tolerate dimming headlights at idle. For me that would be OK since I know to expect it.

If it concerns you, get a lightened set that is OEM size. That's what I have .... this time around. On the accord, I had the UR underdriven set and never had any problems .... also with 2 amps .... total RMS = 550W

You'll only lose A/C coolness, etc. with Underdrive and even so, its not that big of a deal. I think the Ralco ones are stock sized so no problems should occur.

As Jim stated, AC works on specific fluid pressures. The compressor will work slower but for more time. The result will be a bit less AC on the hottest days only. Normally, there won't be any differance since an AC system is sized for the worst case scenario, yet hardly ever sees it. Unless you live in the desert or bayou, the underdriven pulley won't noticably affect your AC.
