question about ALARM system in UK

Default question about ALARM system in UK

Hi new member here,I own a 2000 Accord hatchback 1'8 ie, I cannot find answer to this question anywhere,When locking or unlocking the car with remote on key, it no longer flashes my indicator lights or lights up the red eye on the dash,the vehicle locks but am not sure if the immobiliser is covering the car anymore ,any ideas?? ,sorry am not that technical ,can do the usual Oil,fluids,Air filter and thats it!! thanks in anticipation !!

Sorry ,Moderator, forgot to say am based in ,Manchester UK and the car I own is the manual version Honda Accord 1.8 i hatchback, petrol, its done 140,800 miles now and last month I replaced the original factory fitted battery!!have owned it for 3 yrs now and apart from 2 punctures ,it has not let me down!! am strapped for cash (who is'nt nowadays!) so tend to go for the best priced options when having to pay out,Thanks for this forum looks great from what I have seen so far !! Where are you? (Hatchbacks & 1.8 liter engines aren't from USA.)

I have a suspicion that alarm systems are NOT the same in different countries, so you might have to find someone from the same country.
