My alarm is going off even though the alarm is not engaged. This happens when the doors are locked, the alarm is not engaged. I also disabled the system, but the alarm still goes off. Could it be the hood latch connection?

 

Yes, the hood seems to "go" more than the others for some reason. You can pull the plug from it and see haw it goes.

Also, just throwing this out there....a weak battery also causes all kinds of strange issues with alarm systems - stop by almost any parts store and they will test it for free.

 

I will get a new battery, hood latch was not the problem, I did clean it up, and it was making good contact. The alarm was still going off, even though it was not engaged. The only way to prevent it from going off, is to unlock all the doors. Thanks for your help, I will let you know if the battery solves the problem.
