Default Question about a remote.....

Hi, I have a '98 Accord EX and my remote's case is really worn. There's an auction for a new replacement remote case (my remote works fine, just needs a case) but it's for a S2000.... it LOOKS like the same case, I am just wondering if anyone knows if the guts of my remote would fit in it. Here's the listing of the auction eBay ID: 150419437901
Honda Remote Case
1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 Honda S2000
1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 Honda CR-V
2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 Honda INSIGHT
This is NOT Remote, but new housing of Remote. There is no electronic part inside this remote housing. You need this to replace your wear-off or broken remote housing by simply take out the inside electronic part and put into this new housing.

It appears to be the same as my original case, except my red button says "panic", which doesn't really make me any difference as long as I have a case that's in good shape. Can anyone confirm that this will or won't work for a case for my factory remote?

that auction looks like the same case as my 2001 EX.

pic of your factory remote for comparison? if it looks the same, it's the same. mine doesn't say "panic" either.

Here's a photo of my remote. It looks exactly the same to me. I went ahead and bought one, heck, for 8 bucks, it's worth a shot, and a lot less expensive than buying a complete remote when all I really need is the case anyway....
