Default Question about remote start and motor swap

So im doing a h22 swap but my car has viper alarm/auto start..do i have to take off the alarm system and then reinstall it after i get the swap? Cuz i like the auto start feature on it since i warm up my car while i make breakfast in the morning before i leave..haha

I'd recommend removing it for less random wires in the way. Do the swap, then worry about aftermarket stuff.

No, everything should still work. The remote start only starts the engine, it doesn't control how it runs. But, be aware that remote starts only work on automatic cars, no manuals.

Darn... didn't know that... I always park in gear though so I wouldn't use it anyways.
