Default Ran codes, need help

My d4 light has been flashing. I ran the TCU codes and this is what I got.
4 -Vehicle Speed Sensor open or shorted - No signal from speedometer. (replaced my VSS less then 6 months ago)
8-Shift Solenoid 'B' circuit open or shorted.
9-Counter shaft or transmission speed pulse generator open or shorted.

The VSS is simple and I have done it before, so that is not a problem. The other 2 are what has me concerned.

The ABS light sometimes stays on and I got code 1 & 8. Still trying to research them.

This happened after my heater core hose shot fluid all over the engine and I had to rinse it off. Not sure if it has anything to do with this. I was thinking about pulling the battery cable off to try and reset the codes, but don't want to lose my stock radios security code.

Any help is much appreciated.

All three of these items from the codes are connectors right where you were spraying. I have a compressor that I would use to blow the water out of the connectors. You can google each item to identify the connector. the shift solenoid is a coil so I doubt it has gone bad. How long ago did you wash it down? Get the water out of the connectors or let them dry and you may not have to do the battery reset. Good luck!

Doing more research here, I read that I should clear the multiple codes and see what comes back. So I did and all I get now is #9 Counter shaft or transmission speed pulse generator open or shorted.

Sorry Homie, didn't ignore your question purposely. It was 4 days ago that I washed it down.

Might just be a dirty NC speed sensor. See this page:

And while you have it out cleaning the end, wouldn't hurt the clean the connector and I'd add the proper lube to the connector just to be sure.
