brakes wear at different miles , ......if mostly city driving, auto tranny, lot of hard stops brake will wear a lot sooner than if car has manual tranny, mostly hwy driving and smooth braking ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the average life is around 30-40k miles ,,
As for the rotors, if they are not warped ( shake when braking, ) grooved, or have hot spots or squeak when breaking i would not resurface them,, just replace the pads..
Also , is there any warranty consideration on the rotors??? 2007, 27k miles ??
you can buy a set of pads ( dealer ) for around $ 60-65,, install them yourself ( easy job ) save some money..
