RE: really need some help
You need to find the error code(s) stored on the ECU, since your check engine light is on. Read the directions in this link on how to do it. All you need is a thin paper clip to short the connector. http://www.dhost.info/accordinfo/howto/cel.html
How did you test for spark? Did the new distributor come with a new coil and ignitor?

Pull the 7.5 amp radio backup fuse from the box in the engine bay box for a couple of minutes (it is in the upper right hand corner of that box). This will reset the ECU. Try to start the car again. Jump the service connector and see if code 15 returns.
The next thing I would do is to turn the key to the II position and unplug the two pin connector going to the distributor. Turn the key to the II position. Check that the blk/yel wire has 12V to body ground using a volt meter.

After you check for voltage at that wire...
Code 15 can also be caused by a broken circuit from the ECU to the distributor.
The IGNITION OUTPUT SIGNAL is really the ECU telling the ignitor to fire the coil. If that wiring is loose/dirty/broken/shorted/??? then the ignition signal doesn't get to the distributor.

the distributor is getting the sinal becuz it fires but it only fires 1 or 2 cylinders ad then stops firing but if u take the cap off and crank it i fires the coil good , could a paritially broken wire cause a code 15
