I want to drop a spoiler / wing onto my 05 Accord LX 4Dr. - I prefer the factory look, so I checked the part numbers for years 03-07 (because they are essentially the same car). But they say that the style wing I want is ONLY for 06-07?? And the "wing" for the 03-05 is basically just a lip < ew!

Can anyone verify WHY the 06-07 wing cannot fit my 05?

The local Honda salvage yard has a wing off an 06, same color and all. But I don't want them to go through the trouble of removing it, and then I find it definitely will not work on my Accord. Not to mention the waste of money!

 

You could always measure your trunk space for mounting and then measure the 06-07 wing. If they match up it will work.
