I had the misfortune of rear ending a volvo s80 on my way home from the gym today. It was an extremely low speed collision (2 MPH). My car looks fine. I just tapped the s80 in front of me and we pulled over and exchanged info. I have a question.

Since the damage to the s80 was not extensive, (a scrape and a ding on his rear bumper) the cop didnt bother writing a report (in PA its only required if you total a car or someone is hurt). How much would this cost me (probably going to pay it out of pocket)

 

If expect to pay $200-400 to have a body shop smooth out the bumper and repaint it

 

I got rear ended, in the 2012 Accord. The bumper was scratched and in 3 places scratched completely threw the paint. It was $450 worth of damage.
