CAN SOME ONE GIVE ME A QUICK REMOVE AND REPLACEMENT OF THE REAR ENGINE MOUNT ON A 93 ACCORD EX 4-DR AUTO. LIKE WHAT NEEDS TO COME OFF TO GET THE MOUNT.... THX KEN
Hello KEN.......
I can tell you the way i do it,, but i have all the necessary tools and equipments to make the job easier......

First off i remove the mount from the bottom of the car.

#1 from under the hood, remove the 17mm bolts that goes through the mount
# 2 remove 2 of the 14mm bolts that hold the mount to the rear beam, you need a long extension,

raise the car up....

remove the left axle ,, there is a write up on our DIY section HOW TO REPLACE AXLE

remove the vacc hose that goes to the rear mount
you need to support the engine.,, remove the 17 mm bolts that hold the rear mount bracket to tranny,
remove the l;ast 14mm bolt that hold the mount to rear beam.

push back on the mount toward the rear of the beam,
pull out the bracket, you might have to pry a bit , to make it go over the tranny part
remove the rear mount

when installing the new mount, lay it up on the rear beam, push it as far back as you can.
install the mount bracket, do not install any bolts at this time for the bracket to tranny till you have centered the mount into it , once the bracket is slipped over the mount.
install the 3, 14 mm bolts that hold the mount to the rear beam
install the 17mm bolts that hold the bracket to tranny .. you might have to raise or lower engine a bit to make it line up properly...ALWAYS START bolts by hand to make sure you DO NOT cross thread them. ,,
the rtest should be pretty easy,,,,,,Oh do not forget to reconnect the vacc hose to the mount diaphram..

If someone has a different , easier way,, please let him know ..
