Default Red line??? 94 accord lx coupe

I have a 94 accord lx coupe and i have a question for anyone who might have an answer. So i was racing the other day and when i got to 114 mph the car started to kinda jerk a lil bit like if it was red lining but i wasnt red lining. Does anyone know why this is goin on? It wont go past 114mph and i was wondering why. Plz help

There is a speed limiter in the ECU. It cuts in at 120 I believe.

BTW, I assume you were on a race track at that speed. Street racers are probably the lowest forms of life next to child molesters and tort lawyers.

top speed of non ex cars for 94-97 is 118mph. the car does not jerk or buck...just stop accelerating past that speed ECM employs injector cut to achieve this... I know from first hand experience with my 94LX. Also I took my CLS on a test track in MI and it smoothly accelerates to a GPS verified 148mph and stays there...
