removing bezel from 02 accord

removing bezel from 02 accord
I'm trying to remove the bezel from my 02 accord to replace a bulb (on the fuel guage) that's dead. I know there is only two screws holding it in but when i try to pry it out, it won't budge.
Any tips on how I can remove this without breaking it? I know this should be simple... if it's anything like my 99 civic.
-adding signature if it works.

RE: removing bezel from 02 accord
im not familar with your model year, but if you pick up a haynes manual it will certainly help you with this problem and any other questions about removel. it includes a step by step process of removing any/every part of your car. ive got one and its saved me countless headaches

RE: removing bezel from 02 accord
I ran across this a few days ago. After some searching I founf it. There are 4 bolts. Here's a quote from the thread. Thanks to maxtorque02 for telling how it's done:

First you need to lower the sterring wheel for best access and thenremove the two screws out of the cluster bezel that are on the top. Once that's done then you can carefully pry the plastic bezel out as it has two clips on the bottom, one on each side. Once the bezel is removed you have 4 screws holding the cluster to the dash. Two on top and two on the bottom. Remove those and then carefully slide the cluster out. You will have to carefully push the wires out of the way for it to slide out to access the back. Once you have it slid out far enough you can rotate itto access it from the back.
