removing connector pins and mirror spring
I am trying to repair my passenger mirror and I need to remove the pins from the electrical connector so I can slip the wiring through the mirror components.
Any ideas on how to remove the pins?
Also, I removed the C-clip that held the spring down, any ideas on how to compress the spring when I go back to reassemble?

I figured out how to get the pins out, all you do is remove the "containment" clip in the back (near the wires), and on the mating side/front of the connector, you take the smallest flathead screwdrive known to man, and slightly pry down on these thin plastic tabs that are on the bottom side of the pins. I can post pictures if anyone else is interested.
SO THAT LEAVES the spring.... I was thinking of using a C-Clamp.
If anyone else has any better ideas let me know...
