Default removing lower balljoint

is there a way to remove and install lower ball joints without a ball joint puller or balljoint press?

Here is another video showing a similar method. You wouldn't have to remove the rotor/hub/bearing on your car. Also, you don't have to remove the cv joint from the transmission. You will have to remove the axle nut to remove the knuckle.

thank you.

also upon removing one of my upper control arms i notice my ball joint is loose on it. you can wiggle it.

my other is actually tack welded to the arm so it can not be removed. is this a safety hazard? it has the c clamp ring on it and thats what is keeping it from coming out. when its bolted to the steering knuckle is it fine?

Those ball joints are not really replaceable on the upper control arm, unlike the lower ball joint. Not sure about why the weld was done on the upper arm.

Your best bet is to get an aftermarket upper control arm to properly fix it.
