Default ...replaced resistor still didnt work...

I had this issue recently, took motor out
And replaced resistor still didnt work, put old one back in
Replaced fan switch still didnt work.
Hooked motor straight to 12v power kicked right on.
Checked all fuses and relay.. All good
So i just hot wired the damn motor with toggle
Switch and inline fuse.. I ran out of solutions..
Never had issue prior, just stopped working..

What year and model is your car?

  • Determine whether the issue is on the power (+) or the ground (-) side.
  • Disconnect the harness connector to the blower motor and verify whether there is power (+) with the ignition ON. If there is power on that wire, then the fuses and relay is good; and the issue would be the ground side.
  • The ground to the motor runs through the resistor or heater control panel; and is controlled by the heater control panel.
