Hi-
Could you give some tips for replacing the dash storage pocket (aluminum-colored with door that flips up when pushed)? Mine isn't opening properly anymore. They said I needed to replace the whole thing at the dealership. They want a large amount of money for it. I want to do it myself but need some help to get started.

IIRC you have to remove a good portion of the center console...

I found a writeup once that was done really well, but have since lost it...

Here are the honda instructions that show how to put a 6-cd changer in the front. Removal of the console is shown to give you an idea of what you have to do.
