Default Replacing positive battery cable is a nightmare

08 Accord, 4 door, 2.4l

The connector to the battery got corroded, and so badly that it snapped when I tried to remove it. I've never thought about corrosion welding being a thing, but I've now learned something new.

Looks like it isn' a simple replacement because Honda decided to take a positive battery cable and turn it into a huge spider web that goes onto the engine.

From looking at the FSM, looked like I have to remove the intake manifold, which turns a three minute job into a two hour job and replacing a gasket on a car that I'm trying to sell. Is there anyway to replace it without removing the intake manifold? Considering just repairing it with copper lugs and heat shrink.

Can anyone offer any insight into this job?

And does anyone know the part number for this cable? Haven't found it on any Honda websites under electrical, wiring harness, etc, and it is making it impossible to find the best price. Dealer wants $334 for the cable. PartsGeek has it for $221.

Edit: Found the part number: 32111-R40-A00 for the positive, 32600-TA0-A00 for the negative

I saw this thread earlier, from poorman212, which is similar, but the advice is on a 2013, which may be vastly different than the 08-12.
