Replacing stock 9005 bulb w/ 9005 LED bulb ???
ok, Please somone let me know the answer to this question.
Before I order a 9005 # led bulb to replace both my DRL/High beam halogen stock bulb, I need to know if I do this, will the LED 9005 bulb still give me my high beam function?? Meaning, If I switch to my high beams, will the brightness of the DRL output be brighter when I switch to high beams??
I want to change out all of my front halogen bulbs (9005, 9006 , H11) to LED upgrades, but I do not want to forfeit my high beam function with the DRL 9005 bulb.
If any of you have a 2010 or 8th gen Accord, and you have done this mod, did it work, and what company did you buy from that their bulb worked for you?
Thanks!! a million!

not sure if this helps.
I just replaced 9005 and 9006 bulbs in my canadian 2001 accord. THEY are AWESOME. They did not work as Daytime running lights though. The highbeams flickered on an off and probably would have been destroyed by operating at low voltage.
The answer for me was to remove the running light fuse on the drivers side fuse panel. The DRL lights don't activate and I have awesome headlights.
I had a 2000 accord and replaced the 9005 and 9006 with HID bulbs. They would not activate on the DRL system and activated the DRL warning light on the dash. This acted as a reminder to turn on the headlights and worked fine.
Don't know it that is what you are asking but hope it helps.
