Default Resetting "Maintenance Required" indicator

My wife and I purchased a 2007 SE-V6 in November. The 1st oil change was performed by the dealer, the second by a mechanic who knows how, and reset the indicator. I just got the oil changed for the third time and the tech had no idea how to reset it and advised I call the dealer. When I did, the dealer offeredno help, saying it was done by a computer in the shop at the time of the service. Please help, the indicator is driving my wife nuts.

On my moms Acura MDX they forgot to reset it and instructions how to do it yourself were in the manual. If the 07s have a digital trip computer (I assume they do) I think you can reset it by holding the Trip and Reset buttons at the same time for 10 seconds.

I finally got it.
Hold down the "trip reset" & turn the key to the #2 position.
Release & then hold the "trip reset" again, until it cycles thru the indicator lights.
Release & press trip reset when the yellow wrench flashes.

Yep, but the maintenance indicator on the newer ones gives out a little more information.
