Gonzo1124,

print out all of the forum records of similar occurances showing the curb/sunroof opening correlation and make a copy for yourself, because you will want those attached to your claim, proving its a direct result of the curb crash, or else they will probably try to say it couldn't possibly be related & will pass it off as prior damage. Replacint the roof won't be cheap, thats for sure & you want that on their dime. Oh, and start looking for a new carrier, too. If they have to cover such a substancial repair, they will probably drop you instead of renew your policy.

Hey....Chio's been a member for 17 months. You've been a member for 2 months and have almost twice as many posts as he does.

Plus Chio's a Honda Tech, so don't p*** him off.

Sorry, I guess that didn't sound right after I re-read my post. Didn't mean to "scold" you

If you are getting this car repaired I would STRONGLY suggest you find a shop that can verify that you don't have any frame damage. The moment I saw your post that is the first thing I thought of, make certain that a certified reputable body shop can measure and check both the frame and sub-frame BEFORE you even consider accepting any insurance offer.

No problem Jon! I figured that if he's also calling me a ***** on other threads than he wouldn't be offended.

I was just trying to figure out what could have generated the force to do that and all I could come up with was what happens when you take a pop can and start to fold it, it buckles in the center.... Hopefully he gets that checked before it's all said and done
