Default rough idle

hi there new here and was needing some info if anyone cares to share some,please.so the issue im haveing is put a new timeing belt on checked double checked just about everything i can think of and now it has a rough idle.didnt have one before just wondering if i might have missed a tooth on timeing or anything else. anything will help right now thxs

You mean excessive vibration? Check the balance-shaft belt for proper timing. Not the camshaft-timing belt per-se, but the balance-shaft belt is usually replaced along with it.

Surging idle? Revs up & down? Try adjusting the base idle.
